A visual representation of life right now – hundreds of loose ends, and I think I’m going crazy! Occasionally throughout the day considering dropping to the floor and assuming the fetal position. But realizing this will only make things worse. So, mustering on and looking at prioritizing what’s important and kicking the rest to the curb!

Many, many months ago I signed up for the Sketchbook Project at Art House Coop. The due date for them was July 31st, and I failed to get it done. All I managed was the cover and one page. The theme was “How to Save the World”. The idea that I had great plans for, was [...]

I ran across this post at Camilla’s blog. And couldn’t agree more. However, being me I’ve got plenty to add. I can’t just leave it at that. These are pictures of drift wood I took in Kauai.
The driftwood looks like art to me. Often I find myself mesmerized by the patterns, colors, textures, and designs in [...]

I still have a few Hawaii posts, but I’m going to mix it up a little as I’ve also been working on a few things. And I can’t believe I did it, but I signed up for the World Wide Photo Walk. I’ll be driving up to Kansas City on Saturday and shooting pictures at [...]

I'm a human being, sometimes fumbling through life, but more often amazed by the great glorious adventure that it is. If you want labels - I'm a stay at home mom, a tree hugger, a tightwad, a wife, a nerd, a jogger, a bookworm, a creative soul, a pretty good cook, a beloved child of God, an avid hobby photographer, a person who likes to dip her toes into all that life has to offer. In fact you might find that we have a lot in common, and that labels don't really explain the complexity of human beings.
Thanks for visiting me, I always love to hear from you! You can also email me at b(dot)jackie79(at)yahoo(dot)com
