I’m still basking in the light of this weekend, sorting through my pictures and thoughts. I took the bench with me to Lawrence and since it’s Bench Monday it seemed a fitting snippet from this weekend. Right now the thought picture I have is of connections made that are as fine and strong and luminous as spider silk. And the way that those threads stick to you. But in this case in a pleasant way. Brushing up against the memories of this weekend, and having them softly clinging and feeling my heart in my chest suddenly too large for its space. Later this week when I can be less abstract I’ll share more. Thank you Jen, Melinda, Aimee, Leslie, for a wonderful weekend!
I'm a human being, sometimes fumbling through life, but more often amazed by the great glorious adventure that it is. If you want labels - I'm a stay at home mom, a tree hugger, a tightwad, a wife, a nerd, a jogger, a bookworm, a creative soul, a pretty good cook, a beloved child of God, an avid hobby photographer, a person who likes to dip her toes into all that life has to offer. In fact you might find that we have a lot in common, and that labels don't really explain the complexity of human beings.
Thanks for visiting me, I always love to hear from you! You can also email me at b(dot)jackie79(at)yahoo(dot)com

you’ve summed up what i feel perfectly, and more beautifully than i could…

Your words are beautiful. Keep the memories in your heart, scribe them in your soul, imprint them in your mind. They will all come back again and again to give you joy and perhaps, at times. solace. They will be a ladder to take you up and out of darkness when needed. They will be the comfort on a dark night that makes you smile and gives you comfort…and they will always echo the laughter that you shared together.
They are:Priceless. (as you are, as your beloved companions are)
Lovely thoughts in this post!
