The second day of pARTy we all went to Aimee’s house, where about a dozen of us made soaps and lip balms,with instructions and supplies from Super Jen. Amanda, tribal leader of Gourmet Nomads, brought these gorgeous cookies. I also got to meet in person Heather, whose artwork and photographs I had been admiring on flickr the last few months.
Jello shot anyone? Just kidding – those are some of the soap bars that were made.
And there was a little moo card trading going on as well!
I'm a human being, sometimes fumbling through life, but more often amazed by the great glorious adventure that it is. If you want labels - I'm a stay at home mom, a tree hugger, a tightwad, a wife, a nerd, a jogger, a bookworm, a creative soul, a pretty good cook, a beloved child of God, an avid hobby photographer, a person who likes to dip her toes into all that life has to offer. In fact you might find that we have a lot in common, and that labels don't really explain the complexity of human beings.

I am still envious of your trip with the girls. I don’t have any bloggy friends on the entire east coast. Guess I need to do some searching. Or either explore the Mommy summer camp thing. jan
