I figured something out this week. Are you ready? Because it’s pretty amazing, and probably applies to you as well! The past week or two I’ve discussed composting and making my own detergent. When I saw the recipes for detergent I could not get over how excited I was. I started thinking I must be [...]

Thanks to Dee’s blog I caught this. Won’t you join in? Think how cozy you will be on Saturday night with the candles all aglow. Turn it into a celebration of this great big wonderful planet we live on. And remember little things do make a difference, especially when they are multiplied by a 1000, [...]

Instead I started keeping a bucket on the counter behind the sink and throwing all my vegetable scraps in it. You may be thinking eeeewwwww, doesn’t it smell and isn’t it gross? And I’m documenting my creative to do list here so I won’t lose it. I write things on pieces of paper all over the house, and then can’t find them later. If I put [...]
I'm a human being, sometimes fumbling through life, but more often amazed by the great glorious adventure that it is. If you want labels - I'm a stay at home mom, a tree hugger, a tightwad, a wife, a nerd, a jogger, a bookworm, a creative soul, a pretty good cook, a beloved child of God, an avid hobby photographer, a person who likes to dip her toes into all that life has to offer. In fact you might find that we have a lot in common, and that labels don't really explain the complexity of human beings.
