3.  The real deal hot chocolate, not to be confused with hot cocoa.  And here is the recipe from Pure Chocolate by Fran Bigelow along with her description.  It makes me blush just typing it!  And don’t get me wrong we do drink the stuff that comes in packets, but if you have an extra 5 minutes and a bar of the best chocolate you can afford this is the way to go.
“Hot chocolate as it was meant to be!  The hot milk releases the flavor and sensuality of cocoa butter so the experience is like drinking a warm truffle.”
3/4 C. milk
2 oz. of semi- or bittersweet chocolate (I actually love dark chocolate but prefer milk  chocolate in this recipe), thinly shaved or grated.
*In a small saucepan bring the milk to a simmer. Remove from the heat and stir in the chocolate until completely smooth.  It takes about a minute for maximum smoothness.  Pour into a serving cup and enjoy.  Recipe makes one serving.
